"ALoR will transform our immersive music events, to a live recording studio."
Arts Council England have a special funding allocation called Supporting Grassroots Music (SGM). We're so proud and grateful to be part of this year's grantees, launching not only Acoustickle CIC, but a wonderful project called Acoustickle Live on Record (ALoR).

ALoR will transform our already immersive music events, to a live recording studio, where full artist albums and compilations will be created with the audience in the room.
Artists part of our cohort this year include superstars of the Nottingham scene, names that we'll be teasing out soon, and emerging artists that you might only just be discovering.
For a taste of what's to come, check out one headliner we can name, JAZZIE MARTIAN, and his recently formed live band:
The artists on the project represent a huge cross-section of our community, transcending borders as they reach international ears. In the case of 3 women involved, we have history! Their first live band gig, first Notts show outside of uni, and first ever gig at 16 years old, respectively.
As for Jazzie Martian, we're growing our relationship working more closely together, whilst his core team player Nico (St Conz) has designed all Acoustickle logos since 2016.
On Saturday 30th May 2026 we launched Acoustickle Live on Record with a workshop featuring Bob Mistry of music:defined delving deep into royalties and metadata. The feedback given by Jalle, another artist we can announce on the project says it all...
We cannot wait to launch the next workshops AND host our first of three live events, where you can not only witness the music being performed, but add your whoops and cheers to the recording, and receive an album too.
For now, this is us, over and out.
Love,
Acoustickle x
